NextSand™ is a popular media used for turbidity and general sediment reduction. NextSand™ is a highly-processed and graded media composed of a naturally-occuring alumino-silicate mineral. It is capable of filtration down to the 3 to 5 microns level with higher service flow rates, less pressure loss, and with lower backwash flow rates than conventional multi-media filters.
