Specialty Anion Resins

Specialty resins are engineered to remove specific contaminants. They have been modified to increase their selectivity of these contaminants to reduce interference caused by other anions that would normally be more attracted to standard anion resins. They may also be modified to make them capable of adsorption of oxidation. While these anion resins typically cost more, their selectivity greatly increases performance and media life while at the same time reducing the risk of releasing undesirable contaminants when media exhaustion occurs. Selecting a speciality anion resin is very dependent on water chemistry. Through our relationships with leading resin manufacturers, we have access to experienced engineers and sophisticated modelling software that can help determine optimal media selection and operating parameters for your application. If you would like assistance selecting the best media for your application, please feel free to contact one of our water treatment technicians.
